Headlights & Road safety

As a car owner/enthusiast, do you know

How long you'll need to use the headlights on your car?
We can count on, before sunrise, after sunset, during fog, smoke, or rain and when visibility is less than 200 feet. That is very long in our lives.

In some states, headlights are required anytime the vehicle's windshield wipers are on in continuous use.(Click here for a list of headlight laws by state.)

I believe you always see the moonlight just like me. Headlights is necessary for our safety!

The benefit?

The primary task of headlights on cars is to illuminate the roadway and facilitate fatigue-free and safe driving.

Headlights and their light sources are thus vehicle components that are relevant to safety. They require official approval and must not be tampered with.

The headlights worse than previous years?

Headlights are worse than before according to the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS), because cars these days don’t illuminate roads acceptably.

Many carmakers still treat high-quality headlights as extras, rather than essential safety features” said David Aylor, manager of active safety testing at the IIHS.

Poor headlights are a problem for car owners because the institute claims that roughly 50% of all fatal crashes in America occur in the dark. Furthermore, approximately 25% of fatal automobile incidents occur on unlit roads. Having headlights that don’t illuminate a road properly can increase the chance of getting into an accident. That makes a lot of sense.

So that will be very important to have the headlights which can illuminate the roadway properly on our cars. Pay more attention to your headlights now to get more safety on road.
