GMC 1500 Upper Grill Shield

Ninte part quality was excellent, materials are robust, not thin gauge and fit my upper grill contour very well. Delivery time was 10 day from Asia. I had to locate and apply the 3m adhesive tape myself (provided in the package) without instructions. For me that was fine, for other purchasers may be an issue if you have never worked with such items. All and all very satisfied.

Fantastic fit and finish!

My 2024 GMC Sierra 1500 came from the factory almost completely blacked out, EXCEPT for the annoying white nose cap between the black grille and the front of the hood. I'd been looking for a solution for a while when I stumbled onto this Ninte product, and I'm certainly glad I found it! Ninte shipped it to my door via FedEx promptly, and included more than enough 1/4" double sided adhesive tape to completely cover the top and bottom inside edges of the bulge cover. Even without the adhesive tape the cover snaps in place and provides a tight fit over the contours of the existing nose cap, so you can test fit it easily before you commit to permanently installing it. You have to install the adhesive tape on the inside edges of the bulge cover yourself, but it's not difficult or time consuming. As noted in the prior review, I cleaned the edges of the bulge cover and existing nose piece with alcohol before applying the tape to the cover. If you start from the center of the bulge cover and work to the outer edges on both top and bottom, then you can peel about an inch of the red tape covering back from all 4 center points, and fit the black bulge cover into the correct position. Patiently peel the tape cover from the top-center out to the right and left edges and gently press it into position as you go. Repeat the procedure from the bottom-center out to the left and right edges, which can be a little trickier because the last 6+ inches of the bottom edge of the bulge cover bends 90 degrees to cover the underside of the existing nose piece. I used a microfiber cloth to firmly press on the edges from the center out to completely engage the adhesive on the tape.

The end result looks great as you can see from the before/after pictures. If you're looking for a solution to black out the nose cap on your Sierra then you can't go wrong with this product!

Very easy install. Looks great.

Easy to install. Came with thin automotive (3m style) tape. Just cleaned the area with some alcohol. Added tape to the new bulge piece and carefully attached it. I took care to press evenly over the bulge piece to make sure that it stuck properly. Mine shipped from California and shipped fast and was delivered fast. Bought two. One for my truck and one for my dads identical truck.
